Lounge Redesign, Andover

I helped my clients redesign their L-shaped lounge space to create a warm, inviting atmosphere for the family to relax and unwind.

 

They wanted extra seating for visitors and more storage space for coats, shoes, and gym equipment.

 

We divided the space into three areas while keeping it connected as one and created a warm, inviting colour scheme that reflected their tastes.  Hidden bespoke floor-to-ceiling storage was added behind the elegant panelling which frames the crittall-style doors which divide the lounge area from what is now a study with book nook.

The entrance area now has warm, vibrant tones, while the family lounge area is decorated in calmer, warmer tones. The study/book nook area is purposely light and bright, encouraging natural light to reflect in and bounce during the daytime.
